Chamber music matinee

»Versatile«

Johann Sebastian Bach Sonata in G minor BWV 1001 for violin
Ludwig van Beethoven Spring Sonata in F major op. 24 for violin and piano
Claude Debussy »Estampes« for piano solo
Claude Debussy Sonata for violin and piano

This matinee ranges from Johann Sebastian Bach to Beethoven to Debussy, in which violin and piano also present themselves as soloists. In Beethoven's wonderfully lyrical »Spring Sonata« op. 24 as well as in Debussy's sometimes deeply melancholic, sometimes cheerfully playful late Sonata for Violin and Piano, they finally come together in a soulful dialogue.

with Antje Donath (violin), Cathleen Bergner (piano)
