General Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of the Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar GmbH - Staatstheater Thüringen -

§ 1 General

The General Terms and Conditions regulate the relations between the Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar GmbH - Staatstheater Thüringen - (DNT) and its visitors and are part of the contract concluded with the purchase of an admission ticket.
The General Terms and Conditions apply to DNT events, joint events and selected third-party events in which DNT is involved.
Separate Additional Terms and Conditions shall apply to subscriptions to DNT.
For special events, regulations deviating from the General Terms and Conditions may be agreed.

§ 2 Opening Hours and Admission

As a rule, the box office is open one hour before the start of the event at the respective venue.
After an event has begun, visitors who arrive too late can only be admitted to the auditorium at a suitable time determined by the theatre management in consideration of the other visitors and the participating artists. In some cases this is only possible during the break or not at all. This also applies if the beginning of the performance has been changed. This does not entitle the visitor to any claims against the DNT.

§ 3 Admission fees

There are different seating plans and price categories for DNT events.
Surcharges may apply for selected events.
Cloakroom fees, programme booklets and other additional services are not included in the ticket price.
Only original tickets issued by DNT or other authorized partners (advance booking offices) are eligible for admission.
Upon purchase and admission, those entitled to discounts must present proof of the discount upon request. Reduced tickets are generally not transferable. Discounts may no longer be granted after the purchase of tickets. The misuse of reduced tickets may lead to a ban without compensation.
Voided tickets lose their validity when they leave the venue. They are in no case transferable.
In the event of ticket loss, DNT will only issue a replacement ticket if the person concerned can prove the place for which he purchased a ticket. The original ticket is valid before the replacement ticket.
DNT is not liable for services and prices provided by tour operators or other ticket providers.
