In search of the space in between

An audio walk by and with young people from Weimar

The "audio walk" begins at the Litfass column next to the "Luise" restaurant (Steubenstraße/Humboldtstraße) and ends at Kegelplatz. It takes about 60 minutes through Weimar's city center and can be experienced via smartphone and headphones. To do so, please download the app "Guidemate" beforehand and follow this link to the audio walk. Or: enter "Weimar" in the app and select "In search of the space between".

The Audiowalk is available to you at any time via the app.
All offers are free of charge.

If you need to save data volume, you can of course download the Audiowalk in advance at home. We recommend that, if possible, they give the app access to their location and stroll through the city with GPS guidance from the starting point using the "Auto Play" function.

Young people between the ages of 12 and 18 set out to find new ways of looking at the city of poets and thinkers. Who owns the city? Is everything here finished, preconceived and known?

While Weimar was waiting for the again and further due to the pandemic and became more and more silent from day to day, the young people searched for overwritings, encounters, spaces in between and the potentials of the city. With their voices in their ears, unfamiliar perspectives on the only seemingly familiar Weimar can be experienced.
